The Redarc BCDC1240D is a high-performance 12V 40A DC-DC battery charger designed for engine bay installation. Its MPPT solar regulator charges the battery simultaneously from solar energy and the alternator. The built-in "Green Power Priority" feature prioritizes solar energy charging, reducing the load on the alternator. It is compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle systems and seamlessly operates with standard and variable/smart alternators. Features: Separate inputs for DC and solar charging, simultaneous DC and solar charging with Green Power Priority, maximizes the performance and lifespan of your auxiliary battery, suitable for 12V/24V standard and variable voltage/smart alternators, compatible with AGM, GEL, standard lead-acid, calcium, and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, suitable for use in vehicles with standard alternator charging systems.
